We now offer personalised collection pages. Your institute, chair, CRC, etc. can present its own publications
on opendata@uni-kiel in a single overview. You may add your own logos, introductory texts and hyperlinks.
The publication list will automatically be updated every time your group publishes a new data set.
We begin with the Max Planck Estate, which will from now on be reachable as
opendata.uni-kiel.de/max_planck.

The repository can transfer large files via the BitTorrent protocol now. This enables us to serve publications
of a size up to 10 TB. The use of BitTorrent makes it possible for the user to stretch the download over
multiple days, pausing and resuming it as necessary.
Our technical implementation uses BitTorrent's webseeding mode, so P2P is not mandatory. Please contact us
if you'd like to enable BitTorrent for your publications.

We have updated the software of our repository. It is now easier to semantically enrich
your publications' keywords.
We have also increased the size limit for your publications to 10 GB. If you'd
like to publish even bigger data sets, you are welcome to contact us in advance.

You can now grant others access to your document prior to publication. Simply share the private link that we embed in the draft's page.

The first major update of the repository's software was rolled out today. The process of adding IDs to authors is now much more user-friendly.
